Managing Attorney Christopher Millar


Originally from Chicago, IL, Christopher Millar first came to Arizona when he joined the United States Air Force. His first duty station was Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, AZ. After leaving Tucson, Attorney Christopher was assigned to Incirlik Air Base in Turkey. While in the Air Force, he deployed to Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, where he received numerous awards for his military achievements. Attorney Christopher finished his military career at Beale Air Force Base in Sacramento, CA. Christopher was Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Air Force in 2009.

After the military, Attorney Christopher attended Arizona State University, where he studied Chemical Engineering at the Ira. A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. He continued his dedication to service by volunteering as a Teaching Assistant for students entering the Engineering Program. Attorney Christopher graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, finishing at the top of his class and receiving Cum Laude recognition.

Christopher attended Law School at the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign, IL. Attorney Christopher interned as a clerk for the Honorable Daniel P. Brennan after his first year of law school. During his second year, he served in a leadership role for the Government Interest Law Society and began specializing in Criminal Law. In the summer of his second year, Christopher interned with the Illinois State Police. He had the opportunity to understand policing by working for different departments, aiding them in investigations, legal analysis, and policy.

After graduating from law school, Attorney Christopher began his career by serving his community at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor, he received extensive training in criminal procedure, trial advocacy, and the Justice and Superior Courts. Early in his career, he served as the Deputy County Attorney in charge of Arrowhead and Ironwood Justice Courts. Attorney Christopher then went on to the Felony Trial Bureau, where he prosecuted serious felony offenders. While at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, Christopher completed over 30+ trials, argued evidentiary hearings, handled hundreds of felony cases, and served in Probation Violation and Early Disposition Court.

Attorney Christopher then left the Prosecutor’s Office and began his career at a Chandler Criminal Defense Firm located in the Phoenix Valley. While working as a Criminal Defense Attorney in Chandler, Christopher excelled at the other side of criminal justice law. His prior experience enabled him to understand the prosecution’s side to represent his clients more effectively. Attorney Christopher opened Millar Law, P.L.L.C. to continue service to others and defend his client’s rights utilizing his vast experience.
